 This year as the cold weather began to arrive I got a huge craving for hot cocoa. So, today after being out in the cold it sure sounded good when we got home this evening. I especially like it with Reddi Wip sprayed on top, lots of Reddi Wip.

I thought the hot cocoa would make a neat picture with more of our seasonal decorations on our dining room table. The pictures I took ended up turning out like crap due to the lighting and the whole HDR thing wasn't really working the way I wanted it to either. After hours of messing around with one picture this is what I came up with. I was sort of going for the dreamy look. Ken helped me at the end to enhance the dreamy look. What a good guy!

I like the softness you gave to the treatment of the image. A bit of fill flash for the front would help see more details in the hot cocoa and the whipped topping.

Pretty still life. I like the softness. It would be nice for a little more light on the sleigh. Either fill flash or even a candle or small flashlight could open up the shadows. LG

very beautiful amanda .. i actually cant see all the details coz i reckon i've got a pretty dark monitor compared to a lot of other ppl .. but a love the darkness and the suggested shapes .. and i spose you've gotta say that ken's a good guy .. like he'll probably see these comments .. lol lol . thats a very lame joke by the way ... :)

I like the dreamy feel to this shot. i do wish however that the cup of cocoa was lit a bit more.
