The delicacy of the crystal clear details and the light is beautiful. Well done. I wish the background was a little more defined, or perhaps just simply completely dark. It's a little confusing at first glance. Otherwise, this is nice! |

I love it...I might have brightened the light just a bit and lined your eyes more heavily just to contrast with the white lace. (did you use spirit gum to adhere it?) Your skin looks flawless. You'll age so beautifully! |

Probably it suffered from "poor voter monitor callibration syndrome" as many darker images do. Have you looked at it on other monitors? Apple vs Pc? the processing looks drab on mine. how about submittibg it to the PPChallenge to see what others would do with post process and cropping. you are correct that it should be/could be a stunning image.
ps. perhaps all that unidentified bright stuff in the dark left side is distracting? i have one of those brains that likes to know what i am looking at - if i cant identify it, it confuses me- now that the challenge is over, you cab crop or edit it out
ooh in bears version i see it is a mirror- so sorry- that was completely invisible to me.

Reminds me of the 1920's flapper look, or the King Kong heroine - you definitely achieved a classic look. |

I actually like this quite a bit. If I could change one thing, it would be to see more of your shoulder in the right image of you. Very minor detail as I can't stop looking at your eyes anyway. It is perhaps the monitor problem that caused some of the low votes. Of course, I like the "edited" face look. I did some very light editing on mine and still got the "you over edited this" comments. LOL You should be proud to be able to add this to your portfolio. It is very creative and very unusual and your lighting is excellent. As Monica mentioned, the differences in expression are also very captivating and interesting :)
Gosh, sorry that is so long, but I hope it helps :) Also, your average vote from commenters is really really good :) |

So you again want an honest opinion. I can only speak for myself. I did not give it high score, I only gave it so so score.
The only thing that put me off was its plasticky look. It was good compositions and something different. But the noise filter made it very unnatural for me. Felt as if it is not skin but a rubber stretched over the face. I am not sure how it would look without noise filter but it sure won't be plasticky. This is what I felt.
Sorry if it is too brutely honest but since you put an effort into it, you should know what went wrong. |

Are you waiting on your "knight" on a "white" horse? Interesting lighting here. Nice solemn expression. BB |

This has an artificial air to it that I find somewhat unsettling (too much neatimage?) but is well executed, and the lighting is controlled superbly. |

You're beautiful! I like the low light, and the fact it takes just a few seconds to realize this isn't a reflection. |

love the pic, especially the composition & conveyed mood!
I wonder if a bit more brightness on the faces would have made this "pop" more (i.e. push the levels on the face closer to the white) |

The lace and your curls and expression and composition are amazing here, lighting seems kind of week though it doesn't really pop like it could |

pretty. It's always so odd to me how different mirrored images look because of the angles when you know it's the same person and same shot. It's almost like you have 2 completely different expressions. You look a little more worried in the mirror, where in the real image of you, you almost look dreamy. |
