This was a classic situation of having 100 photos from the session to choose from, and I should have picked a more dynamic one. I was in love with the composition and squelched my concern that it looked too staged. The people (en masse) did not overlook that little wrinkle! One thing that came out of this was that I realized that photographing people is harder and more fun than still life. And stdavidson, I'm a real hotshot, that's why. :) |

Funny comments about being staged, as if you might actually expect to happen upon a man and woman boxing during the challenge week. Personally, I thought it was an excellent setup.
What I want to know is how do you and your wife each rate personal trainers of your own? :) |

I am dying to read the comments on this one. I like it because, well, I've been there. |

Great idea and great shot. Nice composition and POV. Nice use of B&W. |

The best of the punching photos. I give it a 9, as i still looks staged and is a bit silly with the box aerobis exercise gloves that say jab :) |

This is a good picture! Reminded me of the new movie coming out with Meg Ryann! |

Good idea, but it looks a bit staged; a little movement blur would have brought this to life for me. Nice composition and use of B&W. |

DonNt look like a conflict to me it look like a setup. I know that most conflict we get to see in this challenge ARE setup but it's just not so obvious. Your picture quality is good, I really really like your lighing, the B&W treatment is good too. (6) |

This is a nice photo technically, but it looks too staged or plain for the subject matter. I think the cleanness of everything here works against you some in this case. |

Not bad...doesn't do anything for me personally, but does reflect the topic. The lighting on the woman could be a little better. I like the choice of B/W |

her expression is great - his is a bit forced, like the b&w |

Needed to be more realistic...motion blur or something would have made this more convinsing... |

Seems set up still. Maybe it would be better to include some motion in this shot (slower shutter speed and showing moving hands and preferebly a slight movement in his head). Good framing and good expression on her face. |

Looks too posed. A bit of motion blur might have added to the shot. |

I dont feel the impact of the punch, looks a little staged.. A bit more realistic would've carried it |

Nice conflict. A little static for my taste... Too much of a pose |
