Challenge: Conflict (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Location: living room, top of trash can, behind black couch
Date: Feb 22, 2004
Aperture: 9
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1 second
Galleries: Black and White, Advertisement
Date Uploaded: Feb 22, 2004

This photo is still not quite what I had envisioned. Trying the conflict between Mac and PC users... not sure if conflict is shown, but I like the optical effect. After spending all day creating the screen savor, I figured I would submit this even though I didn't get the results I wanted.

That's a bit of a reach for 'conflict'.

Digital Imagers all use PC nowadays in case you didn't know. Mac has had it's day. Now they are for people who know nothing about computers but want ones in pretty colors that won't break. This is a very interesting image but it doesn't show conflict at all, esp since you can't tell it is 2 machine. Plus, it is nearly a violation of the rules in my opinion. 5

Composition is absolutely great, but there are some focus problems. My advice: find an excuse to reshoot this with better focus and resubmit to a different (but applicable) challenge.

too much title. nice image. it pulls the viewer very deep into the space

Though ascetically sound, this image in my opinion, does not fit into the category of conflict. The title suggests conflict, though non is obvious in the image. The title cannot by itself be the qualifier for the category.

nifty pic, but I am stretched to consider this as a reflection of even your own title

So which works better for you? The PowerBookG4 or the HP? They booth look cool, how did you do this imagery though? It's the kind that keeps me looking further and further....

nice pic, but (for me) does not fit the challenge well - it doesn't say 'conflict' without an explanation. worth framing though.
