 No story really. I just liked the way this paper looked on my neighbor's drive way and felt like playing around in photoshop. I think that this neighbor is the only one on our block that still gets a daily paper. They are becoming a thing of the past with technology. My photoshop skill are pretty bad. Think that if Santa brought me CS3 for Christmas that they would magically improve?

Love the processing with this. The coloring makes this paper seem like it has been laying around for a long time.

Very good picture and one that truly fits the slice of life theme. As for your PS skills, mine greatly improved by doing these side challenges. You are bound to get better, especially if Santa brought you CS3...

The focus is really cool here - It's obviously a newspaper, but it could be just about any paper from any time. (Well, as long as the city starts with "San" anyway.)

Good choice in using sepia. It really adds to the old "technology" feel that you were going for.

Certainly a slice of life! Nice shot. Hey, I'm with your on the Photoshop thing! But I am not sure if CS3 would help me.

I wish Santa would bring that to me (my "Santa: thinks I'm wacky to spend so much time on my hobby-but hey- he plays golf !)
