visually dull. Subject is directly in the middle of the picture. You can't see its face. The picture lacks drama. |

In my humble opinion, it's too white around the subject, and the shadow from the spider could have been sharper, on focus and intensely dark, which would provide a very interesting result. It is basically a question of ilumination technique, which is the best kept secret of photography. |
