this was at 6.05 this morning & i used the tamron at 200mm zoom which ends up being extremely poor quality .. i've done some stuff to try and compensate ..
i was taking this photograph from just outside our house, near the washing line ..
i particularly like that there's a joey in the pouch and that they're all in a bunch obviously very aware of me .. very shortly afterwards they took off, going straight thru the fence .. i've got a pic of one of them crawling under the fence which i might put in our slice of life, coz it looks pretty funny ..

this is just afterwards ..

and the escape route which is under the fence ...

Awww a little joey! I can't imagine waking up and seeing kangaroos outside.

This looks like an illustration out of a children's book. Love the joey.

Very nice shot, and perfect timing. I really like the linear overlay it goes well with the fencing.

I think the editing on this works nicely, even if it was only done like this to makeup for the camera. And the joey in the pouch is adorable! Definitely a nice bonus.

Kangaroos in the grass - alas! Love how they are always so alert when you photograph them. You're becoming the "roo whisperer" because they totally trust you.

Love your treatment of the photo, too.

Thats not fair all I have in my backyard are crows and stray cats and if I am lucky perhaps a opposum or skunks roaming around. I really like your kangaroo picture overlays

I absolutely love the processing here. The gritty fence with the "rust" emphasized, adding the edging. All of that juxt opposed to the 'roos and joey as the watch you ready to bound away. It is awesome.

I just love where you live, as you get some amazing wildlife images of our native Australian animals and insects.....
