 During my lunch I took a quick walk through the woods. I took a quick snapshot and then a few more pictures of some leaves, nothing exciting. I thought a leaf picture would turn out but was totally boring.

Earlier today I bought the Redfield Fractalius plugin. I tried it out on the snapshot and the settings that came up gave me this! I only did a few basic adjustment and cropped. This is one cool filter.

This is stunning. I love the whispiness created by the filter. This would be a great winter scene to hang on the wall.

This is great. You have so many different filters to play with. This certainly doesn't feel like a photograph at all.

ha !! .. fractalius .. i've put it in a layer of different images from time to time and then not used it coz it just didnt work .. but hey, its working so well here .. totally excellent with this scene .. brilliant effect and a perfect result .. :)

That is a crazy effect/filter. It looks a lot like when you breathe on the lens to fog it just before you shoot, but with a different twist because of the lightening around dark objects.

This is just stunning, and I love the simplicity and the wonderful leading lines. it is almost an abstract in design, but also an emotive winter scene..... Thanks for sharing it with us..... I have to add it to my favorites..... I bever see snow so I can visit this whenever I like if it is in my favorites.....
