 This is the cobbled square at the centre of my home town, Sandbach in England. Sandbach is a genuinely ancient town, appearing in the domesday book. On the cobbles stands what remains of two saxon crosses. The crosses were completed in the 9th Century A.D. to commemorate the advent of Christianity here in the Kingdom of Mercia about 653 A.D. in the reign of the Saxon King Penda.

Very picturesque! The colors are great, and I like the way the jets almost look like spotlights shining into the sky.

I like the aircraft lines in the sky. I'm not sure whether these were intentional (or even if you knew they were there) but I like the way that they seem to come out from the gables of the pub.
