| I think I understand your concept here of 'autumn being just around the corner', but i don't feel that your image portrays anything particularly interesting about your corner of the world... I really like the photo, however... I love the way the color of that leaf punches out... - setzler |

fall ... my favorite time of year here in virginia where i currently live. your photo makes me look forward to taking fall photos (leaves haven't quite turned yet).
challenge met -- yes
composition / appeal -- good. i like how the laves seem to point out of the frame, and how you've included 3 partial leaves.
technical -- good, love the colors, and the blurry background which is just blurry enough to set off the leaves that are the subject but yet you can still distinguish the individual leaves in the background.
overall -- 8
