You'll need to use all 640 pixels to score well in these challenges. |

It is easy to agree that calm spots tend to be hidden and hard to find in big cities. I wonder if this would be stronger if taken from a little higher camera position, maybe also moving over to the left a little to show more of the second woman's face and less of the bright window, which distracts from the peaceful light of the candles. |

This picture suffers from being too small. |

I guess you got a hundred comments like this, but "you really need to make your pics a bit bigger". This is just too small to evaluate. Sorry. |

The tiny size is going to cost you points. Also the composition with a face growing out of the blonde woman's chin. If this is your first challenge don't get discouraged. A few minor improvements and it would be very good. |

I'm afraid this just looks like a snapshot, though it is a decent one. It's also severely cropped. You should use every bit of the 640 pixels allowed, at least in one direction. |

A great idea - I imagine calm is not something you see everyday in L.A.! People may already be telling you this but, just in case they are not, your image is sized very small and we can't see any detail. Please let me know if you have questions - I think there is a great tutorial on this site somewhere that explains how to size for the site. Good luck with your pic. |

Very small. Also, I am finding trouble in relating this picture to the theme of the challenge. |

Nice Photo, but it saved as a very small jpeg. I had this same problem when I started two years ago. If you simply learn about the step called "Save for Web", especially in PhotoShop, then you can save a beautiful photo with one side being at the 640 pixel mark. Tutorial About "Saving for Web" Thread About "S4W" Hope these help...I'm just sharing the same kind of help that I was given when I was a Newbie. Much Success to you...and...You're Welcome! :) |

OK I appreciate that I will be probably about the 400th person to tell you this, but....its just too small to fully appreciate. A real shame as it looks as if it could have been a really apposite shot in the challenge |

The image is too small. The longest side can be 640 pixels. |

You need to make you images larger - use the max size allowed so we can really see what you did. |

A good capture of an every day event. The photo is too small and is also not in good focus. |
