 A burning log in my fireplace, hopefully won't be needed for long.

Tamron 28-200mm at 200mm focal length.

Shot in raw, converted to tiff and saved for web in jpg.

Post processing: levels/color adjustments, cloned out unwanted spots, usm, cropped, resized, border added.

had to study this one a while, finely figured out what it was but thought you captured an earthquake volcano or something for a second . nice shot
