 For me, and probably for most people in Argentina this monument (National Flag Memorial) is very representative of what Belgrano did for our country. It is a very "emotional" place.

The Monument has three parts: the Tower (Torre) or mast, 70 metres high, which commemorates the Revolution of May 1810 and houses Manuel Belgrano's crypt in its base; the Civic Courtyard (Patio Cívico), which symbolizes the effort of the organization of the state (the Courtyard is used for massive open-air shows), and the Triumphal Propylaeum (Propileo Triunfal), representing the Nation as organized after the 1853 Constitution. Under the Propylaeum there is the Honour Room for the Flags of America (where the flags of all American nations are displayed).

The heat-distortion here steals the shot for me, which is a good thing, it made my eye wander around the shot and study it in a bit more detail. So anything that grabs the viewers attention and demands a closer look is an achievement in itself. Well done.

The whole shot seems oof to me... but maybe it's just my eyes. The composition is nice.
