Photo taken in evening w/o flash. Fondue pot & Waterford Crystal were placed on table directly under hanging Tiffany lamp. Additional light source was from small kitchen light, to the left of the table, and antique hurricane lamp also to the left of table. Reflections on fondue pot are from lighted china cabinet in the rear of the table. Intent was to focus on the flame (fire) generated from the sterno under fondue pot. Very litttle editing was done. Some additional lighting was added using Micrografx Picture Publisher, version 10.0, "Light Studio".

Lots of items in shot. Fire not the center of attention.

I do like the idea but feel the shot is a little cluttetred and the flame would have looked better if it was shot against the back led of the fondue kit.

Thought the background was too busy.

I really like that you did something different and you did a great job of creating a mood. The only thing is that your image isn't very sharp. I know it's very difficult to shoot in low lighting situations - I can never get it right myself. Anyway... I really like this one adn I'm giving it a high rating.

nice picture.

Good concept but there are a few things you could have done to make the image better. The image is too busy/too many distractions - your subject is lost in the mix. A plain background and a tighter crop would fix this. Your focus is also a little soft on your subject.

Pretty good shot. The BG bothers me a bit. I think it would have been better with it black or darkend.

The whole scene seems a bit out of focus. Also, if the background were darker it would put more emphasis on the flame.
