This is one of the better entries for the 'Fire Challenge'... I am an absolute sucker for black and white, raw and gritty photo journalistic work, and from what I've seen this is the only of its kind in the challenge.

The photo is busy yet it captured the chaous that surrounds the events. Great job in capturing the events and still show the compassion for life that firemen have. The willingness that is showned in your piece. Nice work

I don't think you've done yourself any favours by making it monochrome - good for photojournalism, not so good for photo competition.
