My first submission and not one I'm particularly proud of, I new it was under exposed when I submitted it. It was kind of a New Year's Resolution to start taking part in challenges though. It'll get better...I promise

The snow looks grey, I wonder if exposure compensation would have brightened the white.

Seems a bit underexposed to me, which hurts the "ice" feel.

The photo appears dark, otherwise I would have rated it higher. Nice capture.

Uh-oh. Looks like you let your in-camera meter make the decision on exposure for you. :) Actually, with snow it's quite common in that the camera wants to record the scene as middle grey (neutral). To compensate you need to intentionally overexpose (use the exposure compensation feature of your camera). Another option is to set a custom white balance using a grey card (or the palm of your hand if you're caucasian works in an emergency).

It's a very scenic setting overall and I like your choice of positioning to get the water channel coming across the image on a diagonal, and the water is starting near the lower ROT line.

All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

The picture is good, but a poor lighting used here. Also i think it lacks a bit sharpness.

I think this could have benefited from being a little brighter

a little dark for my taste... with some processing could be really nice i think.

This feels very much like a snapshot taken in passing.

Should have stopped up the exposure a few notches to get the snow white, other then that its a nice shot.

Contrast is quite low.

Cool photo and looks like a beautiful place. The whites look gray or under exposed and the photo seems to slant to the left.

a neat waterfall - but the image seems substantially underexposed

Pretty subject but the lighting is too dark and underexposed for my tastes.

Nice, but needs some punch. Bring up the contrast some, IMO.

This image could be a lot sharper.
