 New Year's bonfire - I thought the Christmas lights looked like the smoke (or flying embers) coming from the fire pit.

This picture is not really burning off Christmas. It just seems as though there is a fire in the foreground while the Christmas lights are just in the back. The two just don't seem to mix.

Nice flame dance. But it does seem to not be level. I think it's because the bar at left is not straight up and down.

Interesting shot. I feel like we are off balance looking at this shot. I really like the concept with the Christmas lights in the background.
