Arghh! I put this together at the last minute, and the supermarket I went to only had a few decent looking peppers- none of them red. I actually managed to light the fork prety well in subsequent shots, but the flames weren't as good and by then the peppers were looking pretty sad. I may have to reshoot this someday to get it right. BTW- rubber cement makes a great flame!

It'd be nice to see more of the fork believe it or not. I know it's not the subject, but it seems too cut short. I like the color and lighting.

Very nice! I actually talked to my wife about the same image but never made an attempt. You nailed it. This image is crisp and one of my top picks. Good luck!

Fire and heat in one shot!

IMHO a tighter crop would have given the image more punch. 7 I think!

great capture of the 'hot' pepper aflamed on a cold metal fork. The black background adds to the composition.

Creative idea, simple title, nicely done, will do well, good job! - I might have introduced a touch more light on the front of the pepper to 'expose' more detail.

I think the shot would be a bit better if the flame was more in proportion to the chili and fork (small would let that great blue glow take on more importance)

When I saw the first pepper-fire shot I thought it was original. Amazing how people come up with the same idea, in spite of it beiing the obvious thing to think of (if that sentance makes sense...). The pepper is nicely lit up by the fire. The fork might have been lit up by something else, it's only half-visable. Nice blue flames around the pepper.

Great idea and well done. The only complaint is that the fork looks to be behind the pepper instead of in inside. The flame is just a touch overexposed IMO. I also don't like how the reflection on the fork cuts off. One of my favorites though - 9
