I like the rich B&W in this. Contrasty, yet not at all overdone. |

I am thinking I like the torrential rains better than this snowy scene. Beautiful but snowy. |

Oh my goodness. I would literally never leave the house if I lived with that much snow. Let's face it: I would not leave the house if I lived with ANY snow. Love the doe trail you pointed out.
I can highly recommend Phoenix as a top boomer city in the US with fantastic winters... :o) |

We only get that much snow every 10 years or so, and then it's an EVENT. It's funny the deer has her own personal trail, though that may have a negative effect on next spring's leaves and flowers! |

Most roofs have a steep pitch and 90% are made out of steel which isn't the prettiest site on Earth, but when you have snow on them 5 months out of the year no one cares! The snow slides right off. The main problem is making sure the roof slants in the proper direction for the snowpack to slide.
I'd love some Kangeroos!!!! |

wow i cant believe the amount of snow you have .. i'm surprised your roofs dont just cave in !! lol ..
and how amazing that you get wild deer in your own backyard .. i reckon that would be heaps better than kangaroos .. :) |

This reminds me of when I was stationed in North Dakota. Can't say that I miss that much snow. Nice capture |

I wish we could get some of the deep snow here in Kentucky. We only get inches. |

That's why I love this particular side challenge - I get to see lifestyles that I don't experience.
I've NEVER lived in snow - can't imagine all the preparation you have to do to prepare for snow - WOW!
Oh and it's a great image too. |
