 This is Katie, our god daughter and my guardian child, and she is fourteen years old.

We met Katie when she was only two weeks old, as she is short statured like us.

Her parents were told about Katies condition when she was born.

The baby clinic sister told them about us and they contacted us for information about our lives, and about short stature.

We fell in love with Katie the moment we saw her, and she has been part of our life ever since.

We think of her as our special daughter, and she is part of our extended family.

She made her solo plane flight to Melbourne to visit our son and daughter in law, a couple of days before they came up here. She was there flower girl when they got married and are very close to her.

They totally surprised us when she came up with them, for the Xmas holidays. We were overwhelmed with sheer joy to have here here with ius for the holiday season.

She is now all grown up, and a beautiful young lady. We love her to bits and miss her so much already.

We love to share this story with you all.
