A bit of a weird one I know, but it's stinking hot here again today and so I while I was lying back on my lounger in my studio, I looked up and saw this view of my mobile - so that's what your seeing - GRIN!

I collected coral from DayDream Island in 2006 when I was there - brought it home and made this mobile for my studio - every time I look at it I am immediately drawn back to the BEAUTIFUL place I collected it from - Lovers Cove, Day Dream Island, Whitsundays, Queensland, Australia - SIGH! Been there for three consecutive vactions and haven't tired of it!

Anyhoo... I thought I'd play with the image to make it a bit more ... odd!

Oh and it's not greyscale or B&W (either was Day 1!) just the colours around my home.

I just sat looking at this for about five minutes. It's certainly an intriguing and absorbing image.

Makes for a very intriguing image. Love those non-colors. I can see this as an abstract in a stark, black frame.

So very peaceful in terms of colors - I can understand that you find it soothing to look at it. The layout is creative and makes for an interesting shot of an ordinary object.

Fantastic idea to post the four different rotations in one piece. Great way to think outside the box!

At first, I thought they were little fluffy animal toys for a baby's mobile. Great description. Sounds (and looks) like a wonderful place to go sometime.

And everyone else is posting shots of snow and you're too hot! I like this, though I wouldn't have guessed what it was. I like the 4 views of it.

Unusual from a point of view of not knowing until you explained, but unique and creative!

Not odd, just different ;-) I enjoy seeing other people's worlds through their eyes, and the story behind the mobile is wonderful.
