try not to have the subject right in the center. rule of thirds everytime.

I think this might have more impact if done in black and white with some levels/curves applied (which may not have been possible for the challenge - but would like to see it reworked afterwards)

a little more depth of field and some soft focus on the face would help, but a nice shot none-the-less.

Good use of natural light. I'd crop much tighter - i don't think that much background is needed.
