You know we're in complete agreement ... fences are fantastic. And this is an amazing one, with the shadows and the intricate fencing, awesome. |

Well, I wish I could offer some constructive help with exposure and lighting, but you've seen my images... I struggle non stop.
I love the texture on the gate/fence. And the snow adds a solitude to the overall image. I really like this. |

Lovely image of snow, and the fence is to die for!! I love old fences. You captured the nice, old-timey feeling for sure and I do love your lighting and shadows. I know how hard it is to photograph snow and you captured the feel of an afternoon sun very well. My only suggestion would be to add a tiny bit of contrast. This is lovely, though!! |

This is a lovely composition. I think if you added some 'contrast' it might just strengthen the gates place in the image. If not how about using 'selective colours' and see what comes when you slide white, neutral &/or black around? (that's if you work in Photoshop) |

This is beautiful. I wish you would also take a photo of the old decrepit house, as those are my favorite photos. |

Stunning lighting! Great composition with the fence, snow, and reedy things in the back. Lovely shot. |

Good choice in when to take this shot. The snow has a warm glow to it. The rust plays well with the grass and saplings in the background. |

Great capture of this gate. I also like things like this, kinda like finding the beauty in everyday life. |

Am discovering snow is hard to capture as we really see it..
There's good contrast between shadow / sunlight can pick up it's powdery.
I think this came out very well... Success:)

Nice capture of this old gate. Would look good in black and white or sepia to accentuate its oldness... |

This looks fine to me. Sometimes for a shot into the light like this, I use the smallest amount of on camera flash to fill the deep shadows on the subject. That way the darkest areas in the foreground don't have the noise/grain when I bring them lighter in PP. |

I love the colour of the rust against the snow and the open gate seems to be inviting you in |

I think the light goal is a good idea- that's why we are here...
This image is very good IMHO. The long shadows and snow are well exposed and the open old gate gives it a sad , abandoned feel. Nice work , Anni ! |
