| Great photo, Steve! I guess people aren't as partial to "desert silence" as they are to "woods silence", or "water silence". Maybe it's just too dry out here for some other folk. |

| SWEET! UTAH I am on my way...soon. This reminds of the area around Blanding and the Grand Gulch. Get out there. silent enough to hear your own heartbeat. I love that. Is the sand a little oversaturated? otherwise, great lines and shadows. |

| Beautiful landscape and very sharp and good image. The colortones are litle strange, think its lack a litle more colorsaturation. |

| beautiful colors.. i love long light shots.. too bad the rock on the left has more shadow than rock showing.. i wonder if the shot might have been better with the camera aimed a little more to the left.. nice shot.. |

| I like the colors and composition - not very original, but good. A ground level view would add some drama, but I'm not sure if it'd be any better. Worth a try though |

| This is a beautiful image with wonderful lines, textures and colours. For silence however, it's a bit too vibrant for my liking. The exotic nature of the subject gets in the way of transmitting a sense of silence. |

| Now this is a place in which to sit quietly and appreciate all the good things in one's life. Colours seem oversaturated. Composition isn't strong for me - if there were only one rock formation off to a side it would work, but with two of them my eye ends up kind of falling in the (boring) empty patch of sky between them. |
