Greetings from the CC, very nice job with the exposure of the snow. I find this shot has a lot of areas of interest. The patterns the trees make, the 'tracks' in the snow and their is lots of detail in the trees themsleves. What a great place to have a house! It is sharp and clear image. I am not sure why this image did not score so well. My biggest criticism would be on the top left it feels cut off some and i would like to see a little more, or some kind of reason for that crop. I also like the unique perspective of taking it from above and looking down.
It could of been a bit sharper but I do not find it too unsharp. hope that helps a little, happy shooting! |

Focus seems too soft. Content is great - I can imagine it's a quiet kind of life staying in one of these isolated cabins. |

I felt this was a snapshot taken from a ski lift. Beautiful scenary, but needs a little more in the composition department. |

It took a few moments to figure out that those were little cabins in the snow (soft focus). Wasn't quite sure what the focal point of the shot was. Cabins are kinda lost in this wide angle shot. Sharpest focus seems to be in the foreground trees lower right. Greater DOF to make entire scene the focal point of shot. Good potential. Keep it up! :) |
