Almost looks like a painting, good work.
09/29/2002 10:25:00 PM
now... is that the moon up there or the light in your room?

I love window and door pics. Usually they are from the outside looking in. This is wonderful.9 boyte1

Beautiful colour and saturation.

I love the concept. Looks like suburbia back home, except in my neighborhood the houses are all shades of grey. = ) 10

Great! Normally this would be a boring shot of an unexceptional neighbourhood (no offense!) but the light makes it so much more than that! 8

interesting view.. this almost looks like a painting hanging on the wall :) - setzler

Well framed within the frame. This can be a bit of a cliche but it suits this shot as a 'window on the world. I think I'd almost prefer it without the moon, partly because of the flare, but you've used it to good effect to establish the time of day.

Certainly it being dusk/ morning makes the colours take on a surreal, almost comic book cast and somehow it looks like a model town. - Gordon

Nice job capturing the "twilight" look of your neighborhood. However the frame and bottom half of the photo is a little dark, and is that the moon or your flash in the top left corner?

Like a poster for Stepford Village. Cool shot, perfect lighting, great colors, and love the framing. lhall-8

I like this picture... even though it appears that you were forced to shoot out the window at that angle, it works good for this picture. Very interesting perspective, and a nice portrayal of what your corner of the world is. 8 - JB

great with the window-frame! If you would have opened the window, the moon woldn't be twice...
09/25/2002 02:36:00 PM
Nice.
09/25/2002 12:39:00 PM
If it wasn't for the window frame and the reflection on the glass, I would think this was a painting. I like it alot, wish that little reflection of the moon(?) wasn't there.
09/25/2002 08:31:00 AM
Exposure level is spot on, good job!
09/24/2002 10:35:00 PM
I really like this photo and how you framed it with the window. It has a very soothing effect. Was it early morning?
09/24/2002 10:06:00 PM
Interesting shoot... too bad about the reflection on the winodw

Very cool shot. At first, I thought this was a water color. ( * I'm wierd) The only thing close to an I don't really like is the angle of the window, very much a nit.

suburbia, is that you?
09/24/2002 04:10:00 PM
This is a great through-the-window shot - you have really captured the early morning atmosphere - great exposure.

Nice nighttime shot. A tough one to take no doubt. Looks like there's a little bit of glare by the moon. Still a nice shot!!
09/24/2002 01:50:00 AM
Nice available light shot
09/23/2002 09:46:00 PM
Nice idea but too dark
09/23/2002 08:49:00 PM
Very neat picture... Reminds me of the neighborhood in the movie Edward Sissorhands...
09/23/2002 04:51:00 PM
nice warm colors!
09/23/2002 03:27:00 PM
bravo....looks like a painting...the mood is good and strong...I can smell the night creeping towards the houses...gosh I could write a novel about this street just by looking at this photo...
09/23/2002 03:00:00 PM
looks familiar.. then again.. it all looks the same

Just an opinion: window frame should have a very carefully controllored allignment when shoting it. Consider a tripod head with a level indicator. Otherwise, beautiful, great concept, visually pleasing.
