thanks for the nice comments. This really is named Lost River because at some part of the river it becomes part of the aquifer in the winter months and is covered in snow. I had a hard time getting there because the snow is over 4 feet deep in places. I need snowshoes and I could have gotten a better angle!

I like the lighting and how clear this picture is, especially the sky in relationship to the snow, but I think the white border takes away from it.

It seems a little tilted, but otherwise I like this. The curve of the river leads one right to the cleft in the mountains.
