 develop the raw with dpp. In photoshop: levels, HDR with the transition between 8bits/channels--> 32 bits/channels --> 8 bits/channels, highlight and shadows, selective colours,Replace colours, Hue saturation, contrast, usm. denoise with neat image. save for web.

Nice shot, although the building is somewhat hidden in the branches. Guess that adds to the abandonment. :)

I'm not sure why, but I find this image a bit weird. I would say it's over processed. I like the composition though.

Something looks very, very odd about this image. I mean...it hurts my eyes to look at it. It almost appears to have been tonemapped. I would certainly have preferred to see more of the building and less of the surroundings, but perhaps you meant it to be in context. Except for the eye-piercing moire of the image, I do find the somewhat illustrative look of the image to be appealing.
