What fun to come across such a funny photo that creates so many stories in my mind. So glad this got shared. I am all for this challenge especially if submissions are as great as this one. |

While this has a subtle, surreal quality to it, it also portrays a contrasting stoicism that grounds it in solid reality. This is an amazing capture and one that must be very satisfying to have taken. By far the best photo in the challenge. Congratulations, Ed. |

I love the naked arsed gent in the back, and the very moribund piper, fluting away, seemingly unawares. "No matter what happens, Harry, just keeping playing."
Nice use of really dars, (the pipers coat and the police vests to draw your eyes back and forth 'twixt the dual action. |

Oh dear...the stories are running rampant through my mind along with various silly narratives. You must have been giddy having come upon a scene such as this...oh the luck, the serendipity...the Gods were smiling upon for certain on this day. Excellent exposure indeed. |

seems a bit overprocessed to my eye. the police in the background do add an element of intrigue, however. |

There's a whole process involved in viewing this photograph, as the eye travels from one character to the next, and finally to the moon. And then when you get back to the floutist, he's playing a different tune. |

The black & white on this is really nice. Though the image leaves me with more questions than answers, I find it compelling. |
