Has anyone considered the idea that the hedges were trimmed & the grass cut just for this particular picture? Stephen King is no moron when it comes to his internet book plugs; he is what George Lucas is to his Star Wars memorbilia. It's genius because it rouses suspicion, curiosity, and general interest amongst people which leads to more book sales and movie tickets.

DNMC. Vacant does not mean abandoned. Hedges don't get trimmed at an abandoned site (among other things). Great photo though.

Wow, I'm shocked that this building would sit and go to waste! It's kind of beautiful in a way. I like that it looks like a castle. Very interesting building. Did you go inside?

Very nice shot, it doesnt give you that sense of abandonment though. I can see them trim bushes and the neat cut grass. Nonetheless its a great shot.

What a beautiful building! Lovely photo of it too. It doesn't look abandoned, even the shrubs look maintained. But I won't hold that against you.

Those hedges are so well trimmed I find it hard to believe this is an abandoned building?
