 This was taken in direct sunlight with an manual focus lens (before I bought a n AF) at 1/1000 second and underexposed, pushed about +1.5EV in RAW editor.

I stand about 3 feet from the feeder focused on the flower and after a while I get a customer. It is all about patience.

Cropped to bird, cloned out distractions, smoothed with Perfectum around 32, USM High Res Normal, a little Lucis, lightened background to soften the rough stucco look.

That's about it. I thank you for your time and comments.
