When I saw this challenge I instantly thought of this picture. But I was worried because I could not remember when I took it. I lucked out though because I took it on January 8th of 2007!

I went to Multnomah Falls right before I moved to Alaska. I used my 70mm-300mm lens I had just got the previous Christmas from Santa..

It was raining and overcast. However I managed to position an umbrella over my camera to protect it from the rain. Then all I had to do was wait for the people to get off the bridge.

unfortunately the bridge seems slanted to me.

Stunningly beautiful! i haven't measured it, but the bridge does have the appeaance of sloping down to the right, which I find does slightly detract from the overall impression, but nonetheless, a lovely photo.

Edit: Back for some final views - I have measured the slope, which is non-existant and a figment of my imagination. Time to get my eyes checked! Bumped to 8.

Very nice composition of the tree and waterfall. I love the detail in the bridge and the plants bordering on the sides. I can't help but wonder how this would look with some strong high pass sharpening.

Nice symetry and balance. Decent focus. Image comes across a little grainy on my computer. Good Luck. 5.
