Good work Frank.

Unique shot of one of the greatest planes that ever flew, the SR-71. Bet this was at the new Smithsonian museum at Dulles. This is a very, very good B&W. Should finish high. |

I think its SR-71, but titles aside, I really like this shot - Is this a model against a backdrop? If so, it really does look realistic. One of my favorites so far. |

Your point of view and framing really bring out the sleek design of this aircraft. I like the tones here. |

Isn't the Blackbird the SR-71? No matter...great shot! |

Good think I looked it up before commenting. I was going to say that the plane is an SR-71 but just learned that there is in fact an M-21. Anyway, I like the POV, however, I would have tried to include the entire engine since that is where the magnificence of the blackbird lies. |

wow, very well done, it's quite dramatic and gives a good taste of the aerodynamica. How did you get so close to this plane, is that easy? |

Nice image. Too bad the cockpit isn't lit too well. I think it will score well. |

This is very cool, the composition is perfect and I really like the black and white treatment. The back of the plane seems a bit bright and the left part of the from seems a touch dark, but it's still one of the better entries this week. 8 |

Interesting angle on the plane. The open area on the right is kind of distracting and unfortunately the shadow over the left side of the cockpit distracts also. Maybe getting a direct head on shot and trying to eliminate the shadow would make this stand out more. |

Real or Model hmmm hard to tell. I really like this photo. The composition is great I like how its lit and I would have known what it was even if there was no title. What don't I like about it, only that's its going to beat my shot. Great Job. |

I don't know if it is the lighting, or the surface of the aircraft -- but something seems odd to me here... Great subject though. |

This is a fantastic subject for the challenge. However, the result is rather bland. It reveals little of the sinister nature or engineering beauty of this plane. Whilst the photo suggests a creative approach, I am left rather unmoved. perhaps a closer approach would have worked better for me or the entire subject in silhoutte - not sure. |

Good angle of shot. it would have been very easy to make this boring but your composition and lighting has really made it stand out.
Great work...9 |

very flat, with lots of grey. rather constrictive cropping. |
