What an interesting design for a church. It looks like a spaceship. Good use of a foreground element to give the church perspective.

Thats a really interesting looking building. I am not sure why you decided to include the sign in the picture but I think I would have liked it better with the sign cropped out.

This being a member's challenge I would think if you could, you might correct the distortion from the lense on this. I does not add to the image. Neither do the buildings to the left and the road/street sign. I really like this architecture very much and would have preferred a good detail shot to the entire image and make me want to see more.

Fits the challenge well. Good use of a wide angle lens and the car near the door of the church gave size perspective to the subject. The metal post, to me would have been better cropped off as it doesn't add anything to the photo (unless the sign has some significance that I don't understand). The tower is also crooked which could have been fixed in image editor. 7

nice shot of the church...the signpost is high distracting though

I'm not sure I like what the wide angle lens did to the pole.

This building reminds me of the space shuttle. Nice shot

The sign does nothing to help this picture. The church is an impressive bit of architecture. The crop at the back of the church distracts. Standing in front of the sign and recomposing the picture towards the right may have helped. Since I do not know what was to the right /back of the church I could be completely wrong on that.

Hallgrímsskirkja is always a very photogenic structure.

But since you have a wide/fisheye lense, it would have been a much more interesting photo if you would have gone very close to the church and taken the photo from an unusual angle. That way the school in the background would also not be in the picture.

The building is very cool, but i think the signs and dead grass take from it a bit

Clone out the annoying pole in front of the church door here to improve this fine composition. That makes a big difference with this image. The wide angle view works well here.

I'm not sure what the traffic signs add. Seems to be a bit overexposed?

This church has tremendous potential for the challenge.
Leaving out the road signs, foreground and buildings on the left, and concentrating on the architecture of the church itself would have created more impact for me.
Still a very interesting image.

Very beautiful architecture, I'd captured without the pole...

Impressive structure. I think the sign on the left detracts. A tighter crop would improve it.

Did you take any other shots of the church? I would love to see some of just the church, but I like the angle of this shot. Very interesting building! Great choice!
