I had to work a bit to get the right angle at the falls and was lucky enough to get good light and weather. I wasn't thinking about the framing challenge when I took it, but it ended up framed on three sides. The two most interesting are the rock walls on either side. This is actually a natural fault line in Ottawa.

That's a strong looking waterfall - powerful. As a photography subject in the winter it's "ok". I think what you tried to do here, with including the sides (for the framing part of the challenge, yes?), makes the image somewhat cluttered IMO. Fencing, back concrete, etc...take away from the power of the water. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

It's all a bit cluttered and the falls being half in the shadow doesn't help

nice shot of the falls - I grew up in Ottawa and know them well! A little too much glare off the snow but still worth a 7 imho.
