 This guy lives in the Palo Alto Baylands Preserve,
free as a bird.

Levels, S&H, color balance, crop, sharpen.

One of the nice things about that 100-400 lens with image stabilization is that it captures good detail at a considerable distance.

I guess I might argue about how wild it is. He is sitting that close letting you take pics, must be somewhat accustomed to people. But at any rate, nicely done, good focus, crisp and clean, good colors and the stauration is up where it should be for these guys. background is completely OOF, very nice.

Nice focus, your composition is very strong. I think if your colors were a little more vivid you might have scored a little higher.

Sometimes you wonder what the purpose of all the wild colors is. This one certainly has his share of them. The blue section in the red part is nearly 3-D in this picture, particularly if you stare at it for a bit.
