 I visited the local bird shop. The manager had on a beautifully colored t-shirt so I asked him to stand close to this parrot. He picked up the parrot and began to rub her neck. He obviously has great affection for the birds. The parrot is an 18-year-old named Mildred. I learned that this type of parrot can live to around 75 years. The logo on the shirt says, "Parrots are our Passion."

Coordinating colours, good catch. But the photo doesn't seem to be in focus.

The lighting on this shot is a bit harsh for my tastes (looks like direct, on-camera flash). Perhaps diffusing or adding another light source would help produce some interesting lighting gradients or shadows.

I like the matching t-shirt! I rarely think of birds as "cuddly" but this dispells that notion. A bit "fuzzy" - it would benefit from sharper focus, and I'm not sure I like the background so completely black, but this is a nice interpretation of the challenge.

The bird is very soft and not focused well. Colors and contrast ok. Composition ok but really not all that interesting. The bird almost looks afraid and not all that happy with the situation.

he looks happy and content. i like how he blends in with the tie-dye and the black background. it seems a little fuzzy... maybe could have been sharper.

I like the fact that your shirt matches teh bird. He does seem a tad out of focus though which is a shame
