These are the legs of a wild turkey; taken in my yard...since I've been feeding them cracked corn for a few years, they have adapted to my presence; a few individuals allow me to approach within 5 feet...I sat on the ground and photographed legs and lower bodies one morning; this is the result...there were images with both legs in focus, but this one with the foreleg out of focus seemed to give it more depth...just a personal feeling; unfortunately I will hear about it in comments...haha...levels, selective color, photofilter: warming, hue/saturation,crop, usm

Unusual perspective - very nice. As a personal preference, I might have cropped a smidgen off the left side, so that there's no gap, and the bird leg acts as a frame all the way down that side.

Nice macro shot, but could use some more depth of field to bring the foreground claws into sharp focus, and there's an overall green cast to the image that is not pleasing to the eye. The close shot on the rear foot and claw is awesome, though.

Well congrats on a different perspective. I do wish they were both in focus though. Nice color, contrast and saturation.

Wow, no kidding! Great detail, wondering what bird these feet belong to.

Like the concept and colors, wish the fore foot was either more in focus or cropped out more as it dominates too much in my opinion.

Great idea. Something better than the usual headshot. Too bad the dof is so shallow, but I like the shot.
