This looks like a sculpture. Even so, I wish it were bigger and clearer.

Too small, too soft and not particularly well lit. Technically not a hard photo to take of a stationary subject and sadly can't compare with some of the fabulous shots in this challenge.

Sorry to say that photos of statues, especially straight-on ones rarely impress me. It just seems to me that they dodge the real, well, challenge of the challenge, which is to be creative with the subject matter.

While some may see this as a bit of a cheat (it's not a live bird) I think it meets the challenge well and is a pretty rendition of the sculpture.

Nice picture of the eagle figure and really nice job with the border. The globe (it looks like) he's standing on is very bright and draws attention from the more subtle lighting on the bird.
