 This was really hard for me to decide which one to use for this challenge. Here's one of the outtakes.



Not really any action or anything to this photo but I really liked the birds expression and I thought it worked well in black and white. Also, the sharpness of this one really bumped it up a notch for me. About all the cold weather lately... yes it was cold when I took this, about
-5 degrees F.

Cute as a button, excellent sharpness. Colors are natural, contrast is excellent. Very nice.

Lovely. Sharp, good DOF. I like the framing that the top branch provides over his head. I'm not convinced the b&w conversion or the centered composition really work, but overall, it's nice.

Beautiful black and white. Great textures and nice DOF. This would have been a terrific candidate for a thirds crop, IMHO.
