My fiance and I were walking in the zoo and came up on a family of these guys. Unfortunately she had the long lens at almost every instance of bird sighting, but I managed to get close enough for a few shots. Increased vibrance, brightness, and contrast via CS3 Camera RAW. Post RAW, I added a slight USM.

Lovely colours, would benefit from being sharper IMO

Not quite crisp and popping in focus. Position in frame is good. contrast could maybe be boosted but very very slightly.

Nice shot lacks contrast against the background.

Cool looking duck, I've never seen one like that before. Love the surroundings.

He (or she - they have the same markings more or less) is actually a goose, not a duck. An Egyptian goose, to be more specific. I shoot a lot of these guys at a pond nearby and I originally mistook it for a duck as well. Very solid composition to show the full bird, but a tad underexposed/lacking in contrast. You may want to try a levels adjustment to bring up the highlights, and contrast adjustment as well.

Lovely bird, nice composition, maybe a touch more DOF to capture the face.

It is probably my monitor, but his head seems a little softer than the sharpness of his feathers on his body. Nice capture though.
