Great focus, shutter speed added motion, however extremely contrasty and a bit too complex up on the top half. The reflection part is clean and crisp and adds a nice touch to the movement of the bird. Perhaps a tighter crop would eliminate the noise up top. Still a very nice capture.

You caught a good moment but the technicals are not working. It appears out of focus and then it seems as if there was too much noise reduction used.

Unfortunately the quality of this lets it down, the composition and reflection are great but maybe the shutter speed was too slow and then it's been oversharpened to compensate?

This is OK, though it looks a bit over-sharpened. I like the reflection.

Heh - he does look like he's late for an appointment, and only just remembered. Probably not as crisp as you would have liked it to be, but good timing to catch the foot action in the water.

Contrast is a bit too high, no detail at all in the whites or blacks. color saturation is also a bit high.

You started with a poor image and no amount of editing changed the work product.

He certainly did escape, it does seem a little over sharpened though, but that could be my eyes
