WOW!! You rock. I'm so sorry I didn't vote this challenge. This photo is the epitome of architecture. I'm sorry you were robbed of the brown. |

Well, Gordon, I see you are well on your way to keeping your promise to take only out-of-focus photos this year :-) Problem is, the photo still works, at least to my eye. I didn't vote, but would have given you a right decent score. It's actually a refreshing break from the uber-sharp and very colorful images. Sorry you missed that coveted brown by one shot, LOL. |

Well, Gordon, this photo leaves much to the imagination (which I believe a few of your commentors need more of BTW) and I imagine an impression of a building not quite concrete, but most certainly taking a shape almost within a dreamscape. Here is a clear and excellent example where "Less is More." ;-)
(Gosh...that reminds me...I have to go do my laundry now...may I borrow your basket? ::winks::)

This photo feels like your 'auto'-focus was off or that you prefocused on a very close object. It's really bright too; you've lost your detail in the sky and most of the building. -BB |

The image is too washed out, even if you were going for an artsy shot. |

I am not sure why you chose to process the photo this way, people usually prefer to see something sharp and in focus. |

Great for the type of photography, and definately an artsy look for a type of photography that doesnt easily lend itself to art. Looks like a pretty boring building made into something kind of pleaseing to the eye. |

Far too blurry for my taste, and contrast seems low. |

This is a fine abstract. I can easily see it in a magazine as a background for an advertizement. It would complement the right sort of text over the top of the image. But here, in this challenge, I fear it will suffer in the voting. |
