 A picture of my wife, who just bought me this wonderful lens for my birthday! Canon EF 85 f/1.8

I'm amazed at how fast this lens is and since I know nothing about photography, getting the right f/stop is now hard to do now that I have the option of going below 5.6 at 85mm. At f/1.8, her nose can be in focus and eyes not! How cool is that! Loving the lens so far (3 pictures) and I'm sure I will still love it in the future. Anyway, it's getting late on the last day to submit for a challenge and I haven't been impressed with anything that I've captured (no time to put into a set up this week) so far.

Anyway, about the photo. Taken with no flash of my wife in front of her laptop. Cropped and adjusted brightness, shadows, highlights, saturation, Unsharp Mask and resize.

I do not expect it to do well, I just wanted to play with my new toy

I like the idea of the shot, its seems a bit flat. I would suggest a little more contrast.
