 I took this picture of my wife's eye for the contest.It was one of many as it was hard to get her still long enough.Minor sharpening and conversion to B/W.

I quite like the high key effect here. A bit pixelated though, perhaps over processed or heavy crop

Interesting high key shot. Based on the shadows and reflectin I'm guessing the on-camera flash was used with the camera upside down. The shadows are a bit harsh and the eye is pretty grainy. I don't like the blob on the lower right. I think it would be more effective if you had cropped out the lower-right third of the picture and maybe gotten a little more eyebrow.

Too grainy for my tastes. Would also not make it quite so over-exposed.

too blown out for me to stand as a great photo on its own. however, if I saw a series of these together, I think I'd like it more....
