very neat and patriotic. Just my guess, but judging from the subjest I would guess this is John Setzler, as it looks like a cross between Two-tone tonic and Liberty and Justice. Realy a nice photo! |

This is clever and well-taken.I see that the glasses have to be filled with water, because at the very top, the effect ceases. I think this is exceptional. |

Unique in this challenge. The juxtaposition of the parallel lines of color and the curves of the glasses is neat. |

It fits the challenge. But you know that people are going to compare this negatively with the other famous ones on DPC. Negatively? Because of the red tint on the white surface, the unwanted reflections and the choice of a small dof, which was essential in sharpening all of the lines. 6 |

Okay....hasn't this been used one too many times now? Despite that, it still looks good though. |

This looks like the election is for France (the French Flag)...Having just the stripes from the American flag would have been much more appropriate. |

This is just my opinion but it's one thing to take inspiration from past entries to learn techniques whilst still adding one's own twist and it's quite another to do such a similar copy of someone else's ideas. Nicely done but just doesn't bring anything of your own to the shot for me. |

Nicely done. A bit cliche, but nicely done. |

Parallel lines: Yes. Original: No. In focus, good technical shot: Yes. Interesting colour: Yes. This shot has been done pretty much exactly before but with different colours. There should be something in it that makes it different than the one shot before |
