I think this is excellent. During daylight, you can take pictures of a street light without overexposure and this is done to a tee.

I don't normally go for this kind of shot but the top of the lamp is interesting against the sky and pole. Good shot in keeping with the challenge.

Unique and interesting angle to photograph a light pole. It works well and the parallel lines draw your attention to the halo.

From the thumbnail, it looked like a road going into a tunnel or something like that. I had to grin when I viewed the larger picture. Very cool! Just needs a little more contrast, I think. Good job, it's a very creative way of using parallel lines.

Wow - I would have no idea what this was without reading the title. Very interesting perspective and use of parallell lines. Would have made a great entry in the mundane challenge as well.
