I like the softness most people use with portraits, but this is too soft for the amount of light on the subject, for my tastes |

focus seems too soft...I do like the tight crop...the model looks very much at ease for you |

Like the up close and personal feeling. Soft and a tad fuzzy. Just a little too close a crop on the nose. BOL |

This person has a really nice expression. My only suggestion would be that, with teh way you've posed the shot, you need a bit more negative space. I think the expression may even be enhanced if it stood out against a bit more of a background/negative space. The jaw bone isn't as important in this pose as the smile and eyes so the composition just needs a tiny bit of a jiggle. Overall a nice portrait though. Good luck! |

I'm not sure how you did this, but his face is too "porcelain-y" for my taste. That's just me, remember. It's kind of flat or something. The little blue spot on the upper right corner is a bit distracting. I can't vote so don't worry, I didn't bring down your score! |

Too Much what seems to be a gaussian Blur filter, you took too much definition fronm the skin texture, Nice composition although |

I like this funky white/fade look here. I will say it's not very natural looking..?beard? Still for a close shot as this one, it's okay. I think the crop is alittle close to his nose and I wish we could see his eye more. Not a bad shot. Hope ya do well. |

Too cold. Too bright. Perhaps too close up. |

An interestingly tight crop and very soft focus; muted tones too. It is growing on me! |

a bit too close, and a bit too much of a side view. profiles work great if you can see the other cheek, but so that the nose doesn't "cut" the line of the cheek, so that you can see the other eye. |
