this would look good in the employers handbook

too much clutter in the background... next time use a low fstop and blur it out for a better pic.

a good crisp photo, but too much of a mess of stuff in the background. Too much of a snapshot and not enough of a portrait.

A great capture of the subject's personality - something every portrait should strive to do. The lighting seems just slightly off... it may have something to do with teh white balance. I'm not sure. I think it picked up a bit of yellow from the surrounding areas. I'm not sure if maybe doing something with the colour channel woudl help. Overall a great idea and a good image for this challenge.

Great shot. But the background is too cluttered. Wall on the right is perfect. BOL

The chair is somewhat distracting, but fits the work theme.

Great lighting, color and focus. I would like to have seen this with a portrait orientation/crop. To get in closer, leaving a bit of space on the left to include the cord and give illusion to where he is looking.

"It is easy to make a picture of someone and call it a portrait. The difficulty lies in making a picture that makes the viewer care about a stranger." - Paul Strand"

I'm missing something particular that would draw me into this photo.

Not a good color T-shirt...for this fella and not in this lighting. He looks all pale/all washed out. Busy background. The focus is good, maybe a tighter crop? Good luck.

For a portrait, I find the backbround very distracting...

The subject is well and sympatheically lit and nicley in focus - it is a pity about the rather busy background. Much shallower depth of field might help to lose the detail but it depends on what your camera will let you do.

a very unengaged portrait, it lacks energy

More of a snap shot than a classic portrait type shot. A 4
