 I love this...and it's positively entrancing when seen huge.

It's a piece of plastic covering a flat dirt surface with puddles of water on it. It was extremely windy, and some of the wind managed to tunnel under areas beneath the plastic. The reflections are the sun and trees.

Well it's a reflective surface alright. I can find a lot of interesting shadows and shapes in this abstract ... no idea what it is, but it kind of looks like a brown paper bag that is half submerged in water. The shot doesn't particularly appeal to me, and I'm going to not vote for it because I don't think I understand it properly. Just thought it would be best for you to get my comment and no vote rather than the other way around :-) Good luck in the challenge!

This is the kind of shot I like to take as well - where the real and the reflected are so intermingled it's hard to tell them apart at times. Nice.
